Victims' Stories & Petitions

FLORIDA
Joseph Norman, II, authored the site "Stop Bad Justice." It's related to the 11th Federal Circuit which covers Florida, Georgia and Alabama. His personal nightmare with the Federal Judiciary is recounted on his page, "Banana Republic Justice Available in America". Joe has a formal petition addressed to the U.S. Congress for the Review of Federal Judge Misconduct Complaints.  You can sign Joe's Petition at: http://www.petitiononline.com/jn372/petition-sign.html.

Victims-of-Law Coverage:
Perceptions of the Ineffectiveness of Judicial Misconduct Boards, Commissions or Panels

An incredible story of injustice, vengeance and wasted years. Michael Moncer has been locked up for 13 long years in a Prison in Florida. He was 25 years old when he was prosecuted by Florida State Attorney Timothy F. Kelly of the 6th Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The prison sentence length: 30 Years, for trading an old Mustang transmission for some other parts. You can sign Michael's petition at:  http://www.petitiononline.com/060492dc/petition.html

OHIO
Too Many Questions: The judicial system in death penalty cases has many checks and balances along the way. John G. Spirko Jr. may soon face execution for the 1982 murder of an Elgin postmistress. After a examination of the facts surrounding the case, with the benefit of two decades of hindsight, we believe many questions should be answered before this ultimate penalty is exacted. In a recent two-day series, the News Journal offered information that raises questions about Spirko's role in the killing of Betty Jane Mottinger. Sign the "Petition for Justice for John G. Spirko, Jr." at: http://www.petitiononline.com/Manci/petition.html

Cindy
Justice

Convicted by a Judge without a jury and an inadequate defense by a public defender leaves a mentally and physically ill woman is in a maximum security prison even though she is not violent. There are no facilities in the prison to treat the mental and physical ailments that continue to debilitate her mind and body. All of her appeals have been exhausted. . . . Her sister, Norma, has established a website to try to obtain justice and mercy. They appreciate all offers of legal or medical information that may help Cindy.
