Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107

The Dawn of a New Golden Age

"Justice" in Greek Mythology
 

In Greek and Roman Mythology, the first age of the world was known as the Golden Age. Peace, prosperity and happiness reigned. There were twelve original gods and goddesses who lived on Mount Olympus. Zeus followed by his sister and wife, Hera, led them. Themis, one of the Titans, was born of their union.

Themis is the symbol we identify as 'Justice.' The ancients assigned her the constellation Libra, represented by the scales. Her blind fold symbolizes the impartiality of the law; the scales weigh the claims of the opposing parties while judgment is meted out with her avenging sword.

Themis' daughter, the virgin goddess, Astraea, is known as "Innocent Justice."

Astraea is typically portrayed the same as Themis with the addition of stars around her head. She was the last goddess to leave earth because she didn't want to give up when corruption gripped humanity forcing Justice to flee. When she finally left she was placed in the heavens as the constellation Virgo, the eternal reminder of the law's original purity. Rumor has it that Astraea would return to earth bringing the dawn of a new Golden Age. In the sixteenth century a literary cult developed around the myth espousing Astraea's return to lead mankind to peace through a universal ruler.

The second millennium has arrived with corruption reigning throughout our American justice system. We are in the age of instant world communication via the Internet. It's time for the Victims-of-Law to come together to demand, as a right, that Justice be meted out fairly and evenly. Judges, attorneys, and all those that hold positions of power must be held to account when they, themselves, break or nullify the common-law codified into statutes, laws passed by our legislators and our own Federal and State Constitutions. 

We seek the return of Innocent Justice. Here, the victims of lawless judges and lawyers can share the truth of legal abuse and it's attendant forms of corruption. Our legislators must start taking action to curb the tyrannical judiciary. It's time for the media to start reporting what really goes on behind the closed doors of the black robed criminals.  

We demand our rights and hold those who trample on them liable for their actions. Judicial and attorney self-regulation has failed. We are no longer fooled by the few abusers the system admonishes. Accountability itself has become selective instead of meted out in proportion to the wrongs committed.
