Where in the below “Standing Rules of the Senate” Standing Rules of the Senate -- Chapter 26: Committee Procedure 5.(B)(6)(d) Whenever disorder arises during a committee meeting that is open to the public, or any demonstration of approval or disapproval is indulged in by any person in attendance at any such meeting, it shall be the duty of the Chair to enforce order on his own initiative and without any point of order being made by a Senator. When the Chair finds it necessary to maintain order, he shall have the power to clear the room, and the committee may act in closed session for so long as there is doubt of the assurance of order.
Where in the below “D.C. Code a/k/a ‘Disruption of Congress’” 10 D.C. Code Section 503.16(b)(4) . . . (b) It shall be unlawful for any person or group of persons willfully and knowingly:**** (4) To utter loud, threatening, or abusive language, or to engage in any disorderly or disruptive conduct, at any place upon the United States Capitol Grounds or within any of the Capitol Buildings with intent to impede, disrupt, or disturb the orderly conduct of any session of the Congress or either House thereof, or the orderly conduct within any such building of any hearing before, or any deliberations of any committee or subcommittee of the Congress or either House thereof.
When did Congress amend the following words in Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Sassower was Arrested, Incarcerated, May 22, 2003 -- After the official Senate Judiciary Committee hearing ended, Sassower asked: “Mr. Chairman, there’s citizen opposition to Judge Wesley based on his documented corruption as a New York Court of Appeals judge. May I testify?” Instead of a humane or ethical reply of either ‘yes’ or ‘no’ the Chairman, Senator Saxby Chambliss, condoned Sassower’s removal by the Capitol Police. . Sassower then twice asked: “Are you directing that I be arrested?” There was no response from Senator Saxby Chambliss who upon exiting the backdoor of the “hearing” room a few minutes later, saw Sassower in handcuffs; he walked right past her without saying a word. h

behalf of the non-partisan, non-profit citizens’ organization, Center for
Judicial Accountability, Inc. (CJA),
wrote to related to judicial confirmation hearing opposing President
Bush's Nomination of New York Court of Appeals Judge Richard C. Wesley
to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Full text of all documentation

-- Elena Sassower wrote to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee requesting
to testify at the Committee’s judicial confirmation hearing in opposition
to President Bush’s judicial nominee, Judge Richard Wesley.
There was no response.

– Letter to Senator Schumer requesting a meeting to discuss
CJA’s
opposition to Judge Wesley’s confirmation.
There was no response.
April 23, 2003
– Wrote to Senator Schumer repeating request for info and a meeting.
There was no response.

– Wrote to Senator Hillary Clinton following up two telephone calls of
March 19 and 26, 2003 requesting information and a meeting.
There was no response.
May 5, 2003
-- Written requests to testify sent to: Senator Orrin G. Hatch, Chairman,
U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and Senator Patrick J. Leahy, Ranking
Member, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee –
There was no response.

– Repeating written request to testify or to have written objections to
Judge Wesley’s confirmation made a part of the record -- sent to: Senator
Orrin G. Hatch, Chairman, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and Senator
Patrick J. Leahy, Ranking Member, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee –
There was no
response.
May 21, 2003 –
Senator Hillary Clinton
's counsel requested that the Capitol Police “get involved” because the
Senator did not understand why she [Sassower] continued to contact her
office. Detective Zimmerman identified this as behavior “bordering on
harassment." May 21, 2003 – Confirmation letter of recitation related to the Capital Police contact was sent to Home-State Senator Charles E. Schumer with copies to President George W. Bush, Chairman Orrin G. Hatch, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, Ranking Member Patrick J. Leahy, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton & Capitol Police Detective Zimmerman.

The alleged “continued contact” with Senator Clinton’s
office, “consisted of two phone messages left for the Senator’s Chief of
Staff, Tamara Luzzatto (202-224-4451), the first one at 4:27 p.m.
yesterday and the second at 9:43 this morning.”

Chairman Hatch and Ranking Member Leahy reinforcing the urgency of their
personal supervisory oversight of the May 22, 2003 Senate Judiciary
Committee public hearings.

As the Senate Judiciary
Committee Public Hearing on the confirmation of Richard Wesley was
adjourned by Chairman Chambliss, Elena Sassower rose and politely
spoke these words :
“Mr. Chairman, there’s citizen
opposition to Judge Wesley based on his documented corruption as a New
York Court of Appeals judge “May I testify?”
Instead of a humane or ethical reply of either ‘yes’ or
‘no’ the Chairman, Senator Saxby Chambliss permitted the Capitol Police to
physically seize her and remove her from the Chamber.
Sassower then twice asked Senator Chambliss:
“Are you directing that I be arrested?” There was no response from Senator Saxby Chambliss, who upon exiting the backdoor of the “hearing” room a few minutes later, saw Elena Sassower in handcuffs and; walked right past her without a word.
